About Us

Healthcare Medical & Respiratory was established in 1998 by Kathy and Michael Rose of Hot Springs, AR. "We knew that there was a need in Hot Springs for a locally owned home medical equipment company and the people of Hot Springs have proven that to be the case," says Kathy Rose. Kathy has over 35 years experience in the medical industry, with 23 of those years devoted specifically to home medical supply. After years in the sales/marketing aspect, she decided to branch out and open her own business.

Years later, HMR is still family owned and operated. As a family business, Rose says that HMR has dedicated itself to integrity, quality service, and compassion to their patients.

All of the employees at HMR share her value of customer service; treating patients the way they want to be treated. "Patient care is our number one priority and it sets us apart from our competitors," says Debbie Montgomery, Administrative Assistant. The staff at HMR is highly trained and can identify a patient's needs in order to make their life more comfortable. HMR also handles all billing of insurance, Medicare, as well as Medicaid.
